I write courses to learn things properly, then leave them here.

Every course here started as something I needed to know and couldn’t find written down honestly. Writing the lesson is how I find out whether I actually understand it — which is also why some courses are a spine with four lessons attached and no apology for it.

How it works

• An account is optional, and does one thing. Everything works signed out, in this browser. Signing in exists because practising on a laptop and a phone means keeping the trainer’s practice schedule and your finished lessons in step — nothing else is uploaded, and there is nothing to buy. What it stores.
• The whole course is declared up front. Lesson 19 has a number before it has words, so the ordinals never move under you. A lesson that is registered but unwritten is listed and is not a link.
• Every claim links to its source. Each course keeps its own list, next to the lessons that lean on it. If a source is paywalled or gone, the entry says so where the claim is rather than quietly dropping it.
• A teaching agent does the tutoring. The lessons are scaffold; the conversation is where you get unstuck. I don’t run a forum.

What this isn’t

It isn’t a product, a cohort, or a newsletter funnel. Nothing here is for sale, and I have no plans to change that. If a course helps you, that is the whole return.

Some of it is visibly unfinished, and that is deliberate rather than embarrassing: a course I am halfway through is more useful published than it is waiting. The numbers beside this text are the honest version of how far along that is.
